Vedran Lebo

Founder & CEO, leads engineering

Vedran has spent 20 years designing, automating and running production infrastructure. He founded Flying Penguin in 2016 and has since led infrastructure work for companies in gaming, finance, legal, healthcare and geospatial across the US and Europe. He is president of the Croatian Linux Users' Association (HULK), co-organizes the DORS/CLUC conference, and is an open source enthusiast, contributor and maintainer.

Marko Meštrović

Security Lead

Marko has 20 years of experience in networking, infrastructure and security. He has maintained SOC 2 compliant infrastructure for client platforms, led remediation of security findings and kept Linux fleets patched and hardened. He also lectures Network and Service Security at the University of Split.

Zvonimir Juginović

Platform Engineer

Zvonimir has more than 20 years of experience running mixed Windows and Linux environments. At Flying Penguin he migrates client infrastructure to the cloud and builds automation, with a focus on backup, disaster recovery and secure access.

Vedran Sinobad

Automation Engineer

Vedran spent eight years in visual effects, running render farms and automating Windows, Linux and macOS workstations at studio scale. At Flying Penguin he builds automation and tooling for cloud platforms on AWS and Kubernetes.

Who's responsible for what. Engineering is led by Vedran Lebo. Platform security is a shared responsibility across our whole team. Security reports go to security@opsfabric.io.

Why we built this

We've spent years managing Linux fleets across multiple distros, multiple sites, and multiple teams. The tooling was always the same: SSH into a box, run a command, paste the output into a spreadsheet, repeat for the next hundred hosts.

Existing patch management tools were either built for Windows and bolted Linux support on as an afterthought, or required a PhD in Ansible to configure. We wanted something that works out of the box for Linux teams.

What OpsFabric does

OpsFabric is an infrastructure-as-data platform for Linux and Windows server fleets. Every customer runs on dedicated, single-tenant infrastructure with its own database, physically isolated from other customers. It scans your entire fleet for missing patches, maps them to CVEs, lets you apply them in controlled rollouts with preflight checks and dry-runs, and gives you compliance reports that auditors actually accept.

It's built on an event bus architecture, so operations fan out to every host simultaneously and results stream back in real-time. No polling. No stale data.
