Why we built this
We've spent years managing Linux fleets across multiple distros, multiple sites, and multiple teams. The tooling was always the same: SSH into a box, run a command, paste the output into a spreadsheet, repeat for the next hundred hosts.
Existing patch management tools were either built for Windows and bolted Linux support on as an afterthought, or required a PhD in Ansible to configure. We wanted something that works out of the box for Linux teams.
What OpsFabric does
OpsFabric is a multi-tenant Linux patch management platform. It scans your entire fleet for missing patches, maps them to CVEs, lets you apply them in controlled rollouts with preflight checks and dry-runs, and gives you compliance reports that auditors actually accept.
It's built on an event bus architecture, so operations fan out to every host simultaneously and results stream back in real-time. No polling. No stale data.
